On 23rd August Thursday, we had our most exciting day in the studio since the launch. A full complement of attendees for our Oregano Obsession launch. Imagine a room filled with mountains of tumbling pasta, platters of succulent colourful veggies, swirls of cream, bowls of cheese and the aroma of herbs wafting through the air as people obsessed with oregano cooked pots full of delicious Italian food! It was a sight straight out of dreams.
On the menu was a full-fledged five course Italian meal redolent with the flavours of Tuscany
- Roasted tomato & almond Bruschetta
- Zucchini Fritters
- Eggplant Parmiggiana
- Pasta al Portobello
The kitchen was ready and the tables were loaded with all the necessary ingredients – herbs, sauces, cheese, seasonings, veggies, knives, tools and everything else that one might need. The 8 eager cooks who had signed up were allotted their very own cook-stations where they prepared their own dishes after being instructed by our food champs – Rushina and Harsha.

In the end, we made carry-me-with-you Tiramisu in small glass jars. The students loved this one!
Some students gobbled up all they cooked while some packed it away to take home. Along with newly acquired Italian cooking skills, recipes and a goodie bag from us, students took away some unforgettable memories and a truly unique experience. We loved it ourselves and we just cannot wait for more!
